La douche au jet est un soin tonifiant très connu et présent dans la médecine thermale.
Le curiste est en position debout, au fond d’une salle, face
à une barre fixée au mur permettant de s'y tenir.
L’hydrothérapeute est quant à lui est situé à 5 mètres en arrière et dirige un jet d’eau thermale à gros débit vers le curiste. Cela permet de procéder à un massage ciblé sur les zones du corps à traiter.
L’hydrothérapeute, en adaptant la température, la distance
et la pression du jet, peut réaliser ce soin aux nombreuses vertus pour plusieurs orientations.
