Durant le soin de la douche pénétrante, le curiste est allongé à plat ventre sur une table de soin. Une rampe d’eau thermale automatique, équipée de multiplets jets, est disposée à l’horizontale. Le curiste reçoit alors des jets multiples qui réalisent un massage de l’ensemble du dos de façon répétitive.
Ce soin peut-être accompagné d’un massage. On parlera alors
d’un massage sous affusion.
